Why we don’t tie our grass cutting customers into a long-term contract

At MegaMow, we aim to make our grass cutting service as convenient as possible for our customers by rolling the regular weekly/fortnightly cuts into a simple monthly subscription.

This means that, unlike our competitors, we don’t require our customers to handle cash or be hassled by individual invoices every week/fortnight.

A question we often get asked by people who are thinking of signing up is whether they will be tied into a long-term contract. This is a reasonable request due to the way that other service provider subscriptions can often work. On our How it Works page, we answered this question as follows:

No! We’re confident that you’ll be delighted with our services, so we don’t ask you to sign a long contract. Our service runs on a simple rolling monthly basis.

The key point here is that our expectation is that our customers will be so happy with their grass cutting service, that we don’t see the need to try and trap them into a minimum contract period. This expectation is backed up by years of experience with hundreds of satisfied customers.

Our service is all about regular grass cutting, because that’s what lawns need to keep them looking their best. But what happens if you’re a customer and you want to pause or cancel your account for any reason?

All we would ask is that you drop us an email and we will carry out any cuts for which you have already paid (as long as access is provided).
